Beth-El Center in Milford Receives Funding from the Archbishop’s Annual Appeal Beth-El Center, a leader in caring for and meeting the needs of people experiencing homelessness and hunger, recently received a $7,350 donation from the Archbishop's Annual Appeal through its Vicariate Outreach Program which offers support to local organizations whose missions are consistent with the mission of the Catholic Church. As the Mary Taylor Memorial United Methodist Church Missions Chairperson, I've been involved with projects that provide a lot of support for Beth-El. For years we've been doing a monthly community supper at their Community Kitchen on the fourth Thursday of the month. We sponsor Beth-El's Trick or Trot 5K and Beth-El is the benefactor for the Super Bowl of Caring that we do every January. Beth-El Center’s New Building Approved by Milford Planning and Zoning Tuesday, June 18, 2024 - This evening the Milford Planning and Zoning Board unanimously approved Beth-El Center's proposed new operations site at 995 Bridgeport Avenue in Milford. In addition, there were over thirty written letters of support for the project plus fifty supporters who were present at the Planning and Zoning meeting.
