Make an End of Year Gift!We sincerely thank you for the support you have given the Beth-El Center over the course of 2025. Your generosity has made a meaningful, measurable difference in our ability to serve the most vulnerable among us. Every act of kindness—large or small—helps children, families, veterans, and individuals move from housing and food insecurity toward stable, productive, and independent lives. Thank you for supporting those who need it most right now. No FreezeWe can all feel the weather is becoming much colder... The Beth-El Center operates a warming center in our Community Kitchen for unsheltered individuals from November 24th through April 1st. This is crucial support and seen as a lifesaving program in the community. We not only offer a warm place to escape the cold, but we also offer food and hot beverages to our guests. This year, 45% more of our unhoused neighbors will need access to Warming Centers so they do not freeze overnight. Thank you for supporting this lifesaving program. Meet RichardAfter serving 8 years honorably in the United States Army as a Weapons and Unit Supply Specialist, Richard was discharged in 1989. He relocated to Florida and quickly secured work in construction, but had a difficult time making ends meet due to low wages throughout the state. He ended up at Beth-El Center shortly after becoming homeless. Since working with our Housing First Case Managers, we are excited to share that Richard has been presented a housing voucher and is now looking for his new home! We'd love it if you'd take a moment to watch his video. |
