Since 2018, Beth-El Center Inc. has served as the founder and backbone of the Homelessness and Unsheltered Multi-Agency Network
Mission:The Homeless and Unsheltered Multi-Agency Network (HUMAN) is a multi-disciplinary and data driven alliance that responds to homelessness in the Milford community, making it rare, brief and non-recurring
Goals:
- To reduce stigma surrounding individuals experiencing homelessness via community education
- Identify and address the direct needs of individuals experiencing homelessness
- To coordinate and monitor key data elements that measure need and system capacity; strategize and implement formal community needs assessment
Objectives:
- Identify the persons experiencing unsheltered and literal homelessness within the City of Milford
- Implement strategies to prevent crime by and against individuals experiencing homelessness through information sharing
- Develop a system to address community concerns/complaints
- Coordinate weekly/bi-weekly outreach and engagement efforts
